The first Clean Technology
Center, located in Fresno California, is being designed as a
"Green Building". Sustainable design or building "green" is an
opportunity to use our resources efficiently while creating
healthier buildings. It provides cost savings to all through
improved human health and productivity, lower cost building
operations, and resource efficiency--and it moves us closer to a
sustainable future.
Les Hamasaki, President of SUN Utility Network,
Inc and former urban planner and Los Angeles City Planning
Commissioner under Mayor Riordan and Airport Commissioner under Tom
Bradley has stated his full support for the Clean Technology Center.
Mr. Hamasaki brings his experience to help make this facility
a feature attraction. Mr. Hamasaki is currently assisting Imperial
Partners in the South
Los Angeles Green Technology Park planning and development (a $350
million Technology Park). This development will be the
transition from the gray economy to the green economy for the
City. Mr. Hamasaki states “We must
clean our air, reduce the impact of global warming and be prepared
for the “world oil peak” that will occur in this decade, and the end
of oil in this century.” You can visit his website at: http://www.sunutility.com
